F+A // Twin Palms Frank Sinatra Estate
I’ve known Felicia for over ten years and was thrilled to not only hear that she was engaged, but that she wanted my help in designing her invitations and wedding! Felicia is such a bright and vibrant person, and I wanted to capture that along with her love of color, in her invitations and beyond. Their save-the-dates featured a photo from their engagement session, paired with a custom illustrated map of their favorite destinations in the Palm Springs area. Then for their invitations, I used an illustration of the historic Frank Sinatra Estate, gold foil details, with a painted edge for a fun little pop of color. That illustration was also used for their guestbook, and then I did fun little illustrations of their cats (in tuxes!) for the bar sign. We sourced and found the perfect gold diamond backdrop, from which we hung a large frosted acrylic pane with palm fronds and monogram which was repurposed to their sweetheart table for the reception. For the reception, guests were directed to their seats with a custom keychain with their name and table assignment - the tables were not numbered, but assigned with cute Palm Springs-themed icons. It was truly an amazing night, made all the more so by the fact I was there to experience it in person!
